FORScan F150 Customisation

Looking to have changes made to your F150? 150wires is able to complete programming changes using FORScan.  There are 2 ways this can be done - in person, or remotely.

The available adjustments does differ between models and also the configuration of the car (for example, trays and lifts do change what can be done on some models), so if you're not sure feel free to reach out and we can talk you through options.

As a guide, most models are able to have the following features added or disabled:

• Speed Sign Recognition
• Recalibrate Fuel Gauge for Larger Tanks
• Recalibrate Speedo for Larger Wheels/Tyres
• 'Double Honk' disable
  
• External Courtesy Lights Reactivation
• Global Windows Up/Down (control windows from your remote)
• Turn off Door Ajar and Seatbelt Warning chimes
• Additional information in the Instrument Panel
• 'Unreal Mode' on the infotainment screen
• Touch Screen Climate Controls
• Splash/Start Screen Changes
• Remove the 'Full View Not Available' Image on the Reverse Camera
  
• Activate 'Rock Crawl' Mode for 4WD
• Reactivate your Mirror Indicators if yours is an LWB model with extra indicators fitted
• Add 'Trailer Side View' to models with 360 cameras
• Modify battery management strategy
• Auto Relock (locks the doors again if you unlock using the remote and don't open a door within 45 seconds)
• Reinstate Zone Lighting
• Adjust fog/cornering light behaviour (this matters if you have a bullbar with LED lights)

Prior to all Forscan changes, we take a backup of all modules in their 'as is' state, which means that at any time your vehicle can be returned to its original configuration exactly as it left the factory. We do not under any circumstances use files from other vehicles, each vehicle is backed up and adjusted individually.

This work is not without risk (like any modification) and as part of our terms of service you are required to sign documentation indicating that you understand and accept the risks involved. We also don't guarantee compliance with ADR rules.

For remote services, you need a good quality laptop capable of running Forscan and TeamViewer, and an OBD cable to connect the car to your laptop. We offer a loan service for OBD cables so please get in touch if you require one.
